How do you flirt with Someone or notice that they’re flirting with you

I’m always the last one to the party, no matter what. I’ve had plenty of girls come on to me and flirt with me, but because my low self-esteem and confidence always make me think they’re just being nice, I’m never sure if a girl is actually interested in me or not.
