One of my good friends has basically ruined our relationship by constantly complaining about their own personal problems and that has made it difficult for us to communicate, because whenever we are around each other it feels draining.

They’ve already found a me replacement and I have plenty of other friends as well, what should I do? Stop talking to them/putting in the effort or try to restore it?

  1. Put the friendship on the back burner. Be open to occasional contact but don’t seek anything more. Why? Due to the “constantly complaining about their own personal problems.”

    Limit negativity in your life.
