My wife and I have been married 6 years and always had a good sex life but hit a dry patch since we had our first kid about a year ago. It’s not that we don’t want to have sex, the desire is there, it’s more just finding the time / energy. I would always rather have sex with her given the chance, but I know she doesn’t mind if I masturbate and look at porn when she’s not in the mood. I’ve always kind of wanted to try a Fleshlight, but I almost feel like there’s this stigma around male sex toys that gives me pause. Anyway I do plan to talk to her about it, since obviously communication is important, but I was curious to hear other women’s thoughts on it.

I have a fleshlight, my wife knows about it. It’s not an issue in our house. We have lots of sex toys. It’s better than using your hand, using a fleshlight with lube is less likely to cause friction and abrasion to the the head of your penis than masturbating with your hand, and there is a reasonable argument that it can be used to keep yourself sexually in shape for the real thing.

It’s 2022, men are allowed to have sex toys too now. We can embrace our own sexual identity and take some ownership of our orgasmic selves without needed to be ashamed about it. Anyone that tells you anything else is being sexually regressive.
Guy here. My wife has sex toys of her own and I told her I was going to get one and she was fine with it. She’s even used it on me a few times.

My other question is does she own any toys? If so it would be extremely hypocritical of her to be upset. If she doesn’t perhaps you should consider getting her one. It could be both good for her as well but also good for both of you to use on eachother or whatever.
