Do you ever find yourself living a routine every day and not even unhappy with it, but suddenly realize there’s a bunch of other stuff you could have done and feel like you’re missing out? Like your routine isn’t bad but you’re also not really taking initiative to experience life more fully. How do I keep myself from getting stuck in that rut when so much of life requires routine?

  1. Taking some time for yourself.

    Saying yes to new things.

    Easier said than done but sometimes it really just means doing something new or different.

  2. Drive a wedge in it and make time for the things you wanna do. If you have days saved up at work, take em and go find something somewhere you wanna do. I usually pick a concert or festival, turn my keys and go.

  3. Have things to look forward to – like vacations. Learn new skills, try new things. Break up those routines!
