What is you and your S/O “song”?

1. Me and my bf love Tyler Childers. Our song is “All Your’n” and “Lady May”.

   Also whenever I listen to You’re Still The One by Shania Twain I think of him

   He’a a musician and this is the first song I ever heard him play. He sent me an audio message and I felt all giddy, that’s when I knew I was in love.

3. We actually don’t have one….

   I stopped doing songs when a few good ones got ruined.

5. Leonard Cohen “Waiting for the miracle”
   he says that’s our song because he asked me out lots of times but I’d always decline, one day I finally agreed and we’ve been together for 10 years now.

6. Swept Away by the Avett Brothers. One of our first dates was an Avett Brothers concert. 3 years later I walked down the aisle at our wedding to that song.

   My boyfriend told me once that he randomly thought of me singing this to him one (which I have), and he burst out laughing on the middle of his class. Since then, it’s become “our song,” and he always smiles when I sing it for him.

8. Baby I Love You (the Ramones version) was our wedding/first dance song, but we have several other special songs as well.

10. We don’t have one. I’m not even sure I really understand the concept. Do you just choose a song you both like and declare that’s your song? Do the lyrics have to be relevant or meaningful to the relationship? Or is it a song that was playing or you chose to play at some specific moment when you were getting together?

11. At our wedding we had our first dance to “Adore” by Amy Shark.

    Also Calvin Harris’ “Acceptable in the 80s” is one that takes us back to our early days together.

14. “I say yes”, English version by amalee. We played it at our wedding and we both love the song. He’s from France and I am from the US so it fits us even more perfectly.

    Everytime I hear it, it makes me tear up.

18. J Cole ft Miguel – Power trip

    Because when we first got together 10 years ago, he said I had him up all night drinking and listening to love songs lol.

19. Sugar by Maroon 5 was our original song, it was popular when we started dating even though it’s not really either of our tastes lol

    Our first dance at our wedding was Bonfire Hearts by James Blunt so I think of that more as “our song” now
