I people watch ALOT and find it fascinating to observe people’s interactions with each other. If you saw two people together and without knowing anything about them, what sort of things would they do that make you assume that they were a couple, just friends, people that secretly hate each other, etc.

  1. Couples that call each other names or use personal insults during arguments. Immediately I assume they’re toxic as hell together. I could never deal with that.

  2. Snogging comes to mind as one of the more immediately obvious signs that people are doing something together.

  3. I work as a waitress part time at a fancy place so I observe behaviours from my tables all the time. It’s always sad/weird to watch couples celebrating an anniversary or birthday but they don’t interact unless it’s for social media posting. Constantly on their phones and not smiling. Very passive with each other and clearly miserable together. Oftentimes they’re very rude and put a lot of pressure for the celebration on me. Usually it’s the guys with hot girlfriends I’ve noticed that have these types of relationships. But I do love watching couples who clearly adore one another. When they have their focus fully on their partner and sitting beside one another. Full on lovers and they make it clearly known they love each other.
