When people tell me a story, I don’t know how to respond or react to their story

1. You just flow with the emotional vibe they’re presenting. Excited? Funny? Sad? Dramatic?

   You tap into their emotion, which will also probably be reflected by the rest of the group.

   Them: “So then I SWERVED around the box that fell in the middle of my lane…”

   You: “Oh, wow, scary!”
