I [F22] have had a really low libido for practically my entire sex life, which has been around 3-4 years, and it’s just really sucked because I have had partners who had way higher libidos than me and have gotten upset that I haven’t been as “horny” as them.

As of recent, my libido and my ability to become aroused/wet has seemed to have dropped a lot since being on combination birth control.

I have googled ways to try to increase it, but I have only tried a few so far.

I would love to hear feedback/ways to try and increase my libido since I would really just love to enjoy sex more than I do, since right now everything seems like a huge chore to try to get me even remotely close to being ready for sex.

  1. One of my ex did have the same issues as you. She changed her birth pils to an IUD and her libido exploded just a few week after.

  2. Healthy diet, reducing caffeine and sugar intake, staying hydrated, and proper sleep can increase libido.

Try to reduce stressors as well. Clean and sort out your home if possible.

Protein supplements can help too. Many have a slew of vitamins and minerals along with trace testosterone. That paired with exercising (combination of strength and cardio) can drastically boost libido.

For mental stimulation, try writing porn. The writing process itself forces you to think critically about what is happening and why / how. Because you are the one writing it, it can be factually anything, including the impossible and you are 100% in control.

“What if I woke up and was a super hot guy?”, “What if I became a succubus?”, “What if there was a new guy at work and he . . .”

Also, you don’t need to worry about the writing itself being ‘good’. You may be embarrassed writing stuff like that at first; but, you never need to share it or that you are even doing it. It can act as a safe environment to mentally explore any kink. So long as you find it engaging, go for it.

  3. There is no right or wrong level but, have you talked to your ob/gyn, had a blood test, etc. maybe different bc is a consideration.

  4. Diet #1
    Healthy lifestyle #2
    Balance your hormones #3
If these don’t work or work you can also introduce PT 141 it’ll give you the feel good hot and tingly sensation, 2.5-5mg cilias it’ll pump blood into your clit making it more sensitive, and vitamin P5P studies suggest it’ll give female more intense orgasms.
