There are two people in this story. My friend who is also the girl I want to ask out’s best friend (1) and the girl (2). So 2 asks 1 what she thinks of me due to my request. 1 said 2 thought I was cute but didn’t know what I thought of her. I was happy with that. I told my 1 I was going to ask 2 out in that case to where 1 said she would find out if 2 would actually want to go out with me. I agreed and the next day asked her what happened. Apparently 2 said she might need to get to know me more and also that her parents are strict. Would you say that’s an excuse? Keep in mind she’s saying these things to her best friend not me.
