About 2 weeks ago I invited my boyfriend to an event happening next weekend. This is a drinking event and he enjoys to spend his weekends drinking and listening to music so I immediately thought of him. I don’t care to much to drink so i decided to plan something he enjoys doing. I invited him and was looking forward to spend it with other. We never go out and enjoy each other’s presence. Well…tell me why he tells me yesterday that he invited all his friends. This boy didn’t even bother to ask me first. He just did it anyway. He literally does not know how to spend quality time with me. This is the 2nd time he does this. 😡

Did you communicate this was a date? Since this is the second time, I think you have to be more direct and clear, otherwise that’s pretty rude of him.
What did he say when you told him that it was inappropriate and unacceptable to invite other people to your date and that you expected him to fix it by uninviting his friends?
The type of event drinking and music sounds like a group activity. Next time be very clear it is for a romantic time together and pick an activity that does not appeal to friends and family tag-a-longs.
