And how? By chance or did you always know?

  1. It’s a tie between coffee at 19 or D&D at 21.

Started working at a coffee shop and I just fell into it. Plus it reminds me of my dad.

D&D was actually through someone I met online through a dating app. We both agreed to be friends and we went to a drop in at a local comic book store. I found my current group through there.

  2. Lab work. I became a phlebotomist, after a friend was telling me how much he loved his job. So I thought I’d give that career a try. Which resulted in me changing my entire career path bc of how much I loved it. Which now I’m in college to be a medical laboratory scientist

  3. In 2018 when I bought my engagement ring I fell in love with vintage and antique jewelry. Now I run a business selling vintage and antique jewelry!

I just love the history behind a piece, and to learn more about design eras and gemstones. I was always pretty interested in vintage home decoration and furniture because my grandmother cherished her inherited stuff and told me about them when I was little. But before 2018 no-one in my family had ever owned any pricier fine jewelry.

  4. Actually I discovered it after going through years of painful stuff and coming out of that. I discovered my passion for mental health after basically healing years of trauma and gaining the wisdom that is achieved through a lotttt of pain.

  5. At 17- I had written a short paragraph about climate change in my religion class, my teacher failed me for it because “That isn’t something Jesus would have died for” and said I could rewrite the essay for half credit. I came back the next day and turned in a four page paper (that was a lot in the eyes of high school junior) about the climate crises and why Jesus would have been pressed about the way we treat this planet. It was probably my only 0 I received in high school and I was obnoxious about it. Four years later I’m an environmental science major with eco-anxiety and a bunch of house plants.
