I want to move on from my previous relationships and want to start dating again but I don’t really like anyone at my school (I’m 18 so I’d feel weird with anyone younger than 17)
My friend suggested to go on dating apps but that’s sort of scary when I don’t feel I look visually appealing (and I wouldn’t be allowed to meet up or anything strict parents). I feel like I’d have to explain myself too much to do that. I was also told to join e dating discord servers which sounds cringy but I wouldn’t mind long distance so I don’t even know what I’m talking about atp
What do I do?

If you’re not ready to date yet and don’t see anyone you particularly want to date then just spend time on yourself.
The time you spend on yourself only makes your next relationship even more fruitful especially if you say you’re not all there in the visual department (which isn’t the be all and end all).
Unless you want to date for the sake of dating the whole “putting yourself out there” is just being authentic to you and finding someone who likes that authenticity. You can’t help if there’s no one around you that you don’t want to date other than waiting until college begins for you.
