When dating someone new how can one avoid making the date feel like a platonic friend hangout?

  1. If it’s a date, the intention is different. I don’t worry about making it feel non-platonic because as a date, we know it isn’t platonic.

  2. If you feel like the date is a platonic friend hangout, chances are one or both of you don’t share romantic/physical attraction. I can go out for lunch with my best friend and feel completely platonic, but if I go to the same place with my partner, it will feel different because we are attracted to each other.

  3. When I’m out with someone I’m attracted to, I don’t have any of the platonic feelings. It’s highly sexual lol

I naturally go into flirt mode and the rest is history 😅
