Google defines a fetish as sexual arousal or satisfaction from objects are actions that aren’t inherently sexual in nature. So does this mean fetishes develope over time and are determined by the experiences we have, or does it mean something happened in your childhood that caused your mind to sexualize something non sexual once puberty hit?
I’m asking because I have certain fetishes that are really weird when I actually think about it, but I have had them since before I even went through puberty

I believe it’s something we get exposed to in childhood. I can trace my fetishes to childhood for sure.
