I’ve been talking to this guy for about 2 months. On tuesday, he asked me to go out with him to which i said yes. I only saw him once this week because I was quite busy but I saw him yesterday for my birthday and it was great! however.. i figured that him asking me to go out with him meant dating? but he didn’t kiss me or even try to. Unless him asking me out means something else?

2 months seems like a long time to not kiss if you even are dating in the first place. When you guys are in close enough proximity and having a nice intimate conversation maybe just say “do you want to kiss me right now?” Or something along the lines and and get your answer. It’s better than wondering, that’s a lot of time to spend with someone not knowing at all where you stand.
Maybe he isn’t ready yet, if you give him more time then he’ll come around but if you can’t then that’s also understandable
