I’ve heard many, many people claim they are constantly mistreated because they’re short. Confidence may play a part in this, but I doubt that is always the problem with all the stories I’m finding. Thoughts?

  1. If a short man is obviously compensating getting up in my face and yelling I’ll always retort “Who’s kid is this?!?”

  2. I’m 5’4” can’t say I’ve really been mistreated because of my height. Im also Asian and still also can’t say I’ve had terrible experiences even with primarily white friends living in a predominantly white community.

  3. I had a flatmate that was short (5’7) and he was very insecure about his height despite no one really caring about it nor treating him any differently. He was very passive aggressive towards me too as I’m 6’0. My assumption is that short guys project their insecurity/inferiority onto others

  4. Yea but you can make up for it by working out, achieving success and grooming well.

There’s no point in pretending it’s not a disadvantage .

But with the advent of remote work it will matter less
