What are some YouTube channels that show a good example of how to act if someone had abusive parents that never taught them and were a bad influence?

  1. The YouTube channel “think before you sleep” is awesome! He talks a lot about overcoming emotional trauma and how it presents itself in our modern culture. I always anticipate his videos because he always says something valuable. As someone who has experienced different forms of abuse in my childhood, I find his content extremely helpful in my life. I highly recommend you check out several of his videos.

  2. I’ve been watching Dry Creek Wrangler School’s videos a lot lately:

On the face of it, Dewayne’s videos deal a lot with horses and riding but he often is using that as a metaphor for life and how to behave so that you’re a decent human being that people want to be around. There’s a lot to be gained from this man’s wisdom and experience, especially for someone who’s never had good parents to show them the right way. You should check out a few of his videos and see if you can learn something.

  3. This is exactly what the Patrick Teahan LICSW channel is for. He is a childhood trauma specialist. He provides insight into the reasons behind behaviors you may not like in yourself, and ways to better manage those behaviors. Highly recommend.
