Would your kids be going to Soham school? I’ve heard the groundskeeper there is sketchy 😬
Are you talking about Soham, Cambridgeshire?
It’s good as long as you all drive. Public transport in Cambridgeshire is shite.
I grew up in Ely and lived in Isleham for a while. Soham is a nice little town, is a touch run down and has a fair few chavs, but overall is okay. Seems to slowly be getting better and since getting the train station a couple of years ago has made it a much more attractive place to live (thinking about moving there myself). There’s plenty of green and the place is surrounded by fields with some nice public walks too. I think you’ll be alright there, especially when compared to some parts of London. Good luck wherever you decide to go to!
