My problem is I can retract my foreskin just behind the head, but not any further. Because my frenulum is too short. (It’s also a bit white when I’m erect)

I read that stretching is not very effective here (or is it?) and the best solution is frenuloplasty. My question is if it’s a safe operation. I mean would that affect my sensitivity in a bad way?

Any advice appreciated.

  1. Are you experiencing any pain during sex/masturbation or other negatives (infections, bad smell, etc.)? If not, I wouldn’t worry about it. As long as you’re able to clean yourself and are pain free, you’re good.

  2. It really doesn’t sound like your case is severe enough to warrant surgery.

I had a short frenulum at your age and down. If I pulled the skin open past a certain point it would make my head point down…which was annoying and a little uncomfortable. When I was a kid all my friends were circumcized, and I envied the way the shaft skin pulled even all the way around on theirs.
It’s stubborn as hell but it’ll lengthen if you’re persistent. Alternate between pulling it down as far as it will go until it goes taut, and this routine:

In the meantime if you become sexually active, as long as you have adequate lube it shouldn’t be a problem. In fact I found that it lengthened even faster once I became sexually active…sex exerts just the right amount of pulling tension.

  3. Commenting because I know penis stuff can be scary. Mine only ever goes to just below the head and I can only get it there when soft by hand or during sex when I pull out I notice it’s below the head on its own.
Without lube or something I can’t really pull it that far back
