I don’t usually have any problems when talking to someone for the first time because there is a lot of questions to ask and dig deeper on.
What kind of music do you like? Do you play games? Do you watch anime? What are your hobbies? What do you do for work?
Once you know all this stuff then what do you talk about when you meet them the second/ third time?

Could always ask what they’ve been up to, how’s their job and their family and all that
You could dig deeper into specific subjects. Such as which specific songs they like and why. Or the characters and plot lines of their favorite shows.
