r/france has decided to [ban](https://old.reddit.com/r/france/comments/yxrl4w/exceptionnellement_la_coupe_du_monde_ne_fera_pas/) all coverage of the World Cup on ethical grounds and I think that’s an interesting policy. Covering the WC itself and the conditions in which it takes place is still allowed, but the football part isn’t.

r/spain is just shitpost after shitpost, is a very cringey and shitty subreddit filled with tiktok videos so I unsubbed after a few weeks. But I bet they will post stuff if Spain wins their matches

We’re stuck in the awkward position of having qualified for our first World Cup in 64 years… and it’s *this* one.
I think most people will follow the team’s progress, but would be happier if we’d qualified for USA ’26 instead.
