Has anyone had issues with these ?

I ordered a parcel for next day delivery over 3 weeks ago

Everyday they come up with a new excuse including

Issues at depot

Unable to find one of there own designated pick up locations

Every day they assure me I will receive it the next day and everyday there is a new excuse as to why it has not been delivered

  1. Complain to whoever you ordered it from. You’re not DPD’s client, the sender is. DPD don’t give a toss about you, but if you complain to the shop and say you want to cancel that will have an effect.

  2. Dpd is a great parcel collection service, they might as well not bother their arse having vans out, I always end up having to drive the 15 miles to their depot to get anything sent out by them. As other says, contact seller tell them not arrived.

  3. We use DPD at work, have to say I find them pretty decent, better than a lot of the alternatives.

If you’ve bought from someone though DPD will speak to you about updates or minor delivery changes, but the sender has the control and contract with them.

They need to be pushing them about it, or be pushing for a lost parcel claim. If it’s a random ebay seller or alike I’d ask them about getting a refund if you need the item sooner.

If it’s a shop they should supply a replacement if possible (refund if not), then have your delayed/lost parcel either compensated to them after or have it diverted back to sender.

Basically its not your problem and the sender has to sort it. On the odd delivery issue we have (with any courier) we give them a day or two to find it, and if not have a new unit sent to the customer and we then deal with the delivery issue afterwards so the customer is sorted and the delay doesn’t matter to us.
