Guy saying he’s not feeling spark after amazing date

Basically the same context as title. Me (22F) and the guy i met on hinge (26M), setted up a date to meet. On our fitst date we went out roamed half the locality, had ice cream and amazing time. He himself said this is one of the best dates he ever been on, but when we spoke the next day he said he’s not getting any special spark from me and would be very thoughtful about who’s going to be his next relationship as its long term going forward (like marrying). From then we are talking daily even more than before, he compliments me often, flirting as same but don’t want to date. If no spark why treat me so special, and he occssionally asks me to set him up with someone. Its confusing, and very hard to stay as friends with the guy you like when he’s flirting with you even. Should I break it off the friendship also? I like him but don’t want my heart broken again, kindly advise😶
