Any airline… so you can fly the hell out of here
Anything essential.
People will still need nurses, plumbers, electricians and IT support.
They be less likely to need chefs, nail technicians and valet services.
Plumbing, plasterer, electrician that sort of stuff will always be needed.
Working at a funeral director is guaranteed work aswell.
Care homes are another guaranteed option.
Logistics. Will always be there as long as there food in the supermarkets and stock at amazon warehouses
Casino. They get busier the worse the economy gets as people get desperate to make cash in other ways. Sad but true (I work in one and it’s gotten busier over the past year)
Was always told as a kid to get into the funeral business as you’re never out of work.
Sacrifice money and work/life balance and join the NHS. It’s not much but it’s honest work.
Pawnbrokers, gold merchants, poundshops and payday loans.
debt collector.
Cyber Security. Skills shortage, high wages, plenty of jobs advertised and not gonna stop being needed any time soon.
Sales. There is always money in sales
Bailiff – if you can handle the misery.
Pharmaceuticals/Debt counsellors always do well in a recession
Funeral Directors.
Thousands of dead plebs ain’t gonna bury themselves.
A trade. The tradees are already crazy busy and doing very well for themselves. When people can’t move they upgrade
Can confirm electrician or any trade is good. Doing it atm and walking into jobs like mad compared to doing office jobs etc.
Military.
I joined in 2008 , during the economic downturn. There were people into their mid 30s joining up where I was 17. Might see a repeat of older recruits signing up. Which isn’t a bad thing!
Accounting – tend to be amongst the last to get sacked if the business blows up.
Debt collection.
Become crab people. Crabs is recession-proof. People gotta eat!
