Movies portray shower sex really badly, it’s not as easy as pinning a girl against the wall while at risk of slipping and what not. I think for now I just prefer to do it in bed and if we shower we can do other things to each other like fingering and bj’s etc… I’m starting to think doing it in other places like on the kitchen bench may also look and be uncomfy. The sex bit is great but u get distracted trying to get comfy so neither of you are 100% in the moment, only like 95%.

Agreed! Movies, and especially porn, are fantasy – not real life. They come up with new scenarios because the tried and true (and very comfortable) bed has been done a million times. I always am hopeful that young people don’t base their sex lives off of movies.
That being said… the bed is great, but one of the best sex sessions I ever had was in the woods standing up – not a lot of comfort there! I guess the only thing to do is try out ALL of those little areas that you wonder about 🙂
Sex in the shower usually only works if the woman is the same height or taller. Agree with you , oral is much easier
Movies are made to keep your attention. But irl you have your partner to keep your attention. So it’s good place to heat things up. And it should be finished on places you feel most comfortable at.
I am 9 inches taller than my wife. Shower sex in theory is way hotter in theory than in reality with this height difference.
I have never tried it with a woman my height so I can’t comment on that. I have to be squatted down quite far with her bent over to have shower sex.
My fwb told me we could play in the shower but he wouldn’t fuck me it just not practical. So I have thought only time shower sex works is if there is like many shower heads, a bench and no slip surface (so basically one of the really swanky hotel bathroom showers) I told him this and he said yeah it would work better in that my bathtub shower is just not practical.
Some people love it, some people hate it. i always thought shower sex was like a sexual myth because i heard how much so many people hate it or say it can’t work.
personally, I LOVE shower sex. my bf and I used to stay at hotel to have sleepover because we both still lived at home & couldn’t stay over each other’s parents house. one day he asked if i want to take a shower together and things got heated. i loved it! now my shower at home (i moved out finally!) has a shower bar because my aunt who lived here before me was in a wheelchair. now we can have all the shower sex we want without worrying about me slipping & him having to catch me. it’s amazing.
Yeah. Shower sex is a bummer. One person is usually cold and water is a lubrication killer.
Shower sex is way overrated
Shower sex is highly over rated. Showering together is really only good for some intimate touching and possibly a Bj, but trying to fuck in the shower is a big disappointment.
Better to just get hot, excited and clean in the shower and then take it to bed. A joint bath in a tub big enough for two is a totally different story.
I do not like it. I don’t mind giving head or getting fingered in the shower but sex is too damn hard! There are grips you can install onto the shower wall if you’re interested in trying again but I’m there with you. Same with pool sex! All that floating makes penetration difficult but I heard inserting first on a ladder or ledge then slipping in makes it easier.
