The older I get, the more satisfied I am being alone. If someone comes along, that’s great, but I’ve become less jaded with age. If I get declined or rejected, I just move on. I used to be jaded about it, but now my life is in such a good spot that it is their loss. I’m actually happy and content doing everything I want by myself at this point.

Anyone else?

  1. Yep! I’ve been single for 6 years now and it’s the best. I am looking for a short term winter relationship right now but I still won’t give them more than 2 days per week of my time- I’m busy and don’t have that level of interest in anyone. My main issue with dating and new relationship are all the damn text messages and the constant presence of some new person in my phone awaiting my response. It stresses me the hell out lol

  2. Yeah honestly I like my life so much it would take a SPECTACULAR person to get me to change it and honestly the people I have seen are significantly less so. I think a lot of people would be better off if they got to experience being “happily single” first instead of making choices based on what they think being alone looks like.
