So I was there with my boyfriend picking food for dinner. In the middle of shopping he told me he had to use the bathroom. He was gone for a while. I continued shopping and I was done and already bought the groceries and everything. So I decided to head by the bathrooms to wait for him outside. And on my way there, I saw him coming OUT OF THE WOMEN’S BATHROOM. I covered my mouth in shock and I asked him “please tell me I did not just see that! What were you in the women’s bathroom for?!” He told me that he went in to try to lock all the stalls. Shortly after I asked him, a woman with her young child also saw him coming out.
They went in, then they came back out. They asked if he did something to the stalls cause they were all locked. He claimed he didn’t go in there and didn’t do anything to the stalls. She then go tells a manager about it. When she left my boyfriend grabs my hand and rushes me out the store. We get in the car and I asked him again why was he in there. He told me he’s done it when he was younger and wanted to bring back memories. Now, be aware I’m 25 and he’s 27. Pretty immature

The fact that he grabbed your hand and ran out of the store right when the woman was about to speak to a manager about him – it tells you everything you need to know. There is not a chance he was just innocently “trying to bring back memories”.

Hello OP,
Since you posted in the relationship advice subreddit, I’m assuming you’re seeking advice about this situation.
I think it’s fair to take him at his word that he went in that bathroom to intentionally lock stalls – another woman confirmed that.
Is he typically very mature, a good decision maker, and this was the first time you’ve observed him acting foolishly? If so, tell him it was foolish, explain how making women feel uncomfortable isn’t worth his thrills, and set a boundary of him never doing it again.
Or, if he’s shown a pattern of acting like a fool…well you know you’re dating a fool. The rest of the decision is yours then.
