Going on my first ever date! What the heck do I do?

1. did you specify to them that it was a date?

2. grab a coffee or bite to eat before class. ask q’s to get to know each other

3. Just be yourself, ask questions, answer honestly, and enjoy it. Don’t have any other expectations.

   Above all, no matter how it ends, make sure she gets home safely.

5. Do whatever you would with your best friend, but sexualize all the teasing/ribbing you would do with your friends to convey attraction. If they are responding well to that, lean in 90% for a kiss and hopefully they’ll do the rest

6. All the cliches are true: be yourself, don’t try too hard.

   Just know that it doesn’t have to be perfect, and neither do you. She’s probably just as nervous as you are, even if this isn’t her first date. So, don’t be hard on yourself and don’t bend over backwards to pretend you aren’t nervous. Just go with the flow.

   Big one: don’t do anything you don’t want, or that makes you uncomfortable. We say this to women a lot, but I think it is important that men understand this too. You can say no to anything, and make it know if something makes you uneasy or uncomfortable.

   Stay safe, make good choices, be kind and be yourself.

   Most important, just have fun. This is a moment in a series of moments that will happen in your life. Make memory, enjoy it.
