IDK the actual term but if I got to get my teeth whitened, where they use the big UV light, How long can it last if I actually watch what I eat?

  1. Depends what you mean by “last.” As soon as you start eating/drinking/smoking/whatever, your teeth will start to slowly yellow again. It’s not like a year passes, someone flips a switch, and your teeth go from perfectly white to yellow.

  2. They will stay white for a s long as you do not stain them again. It’s like washing your clothes.

  3. Ask a dentist. I did, she told me she could do it, but there was a risk that i could experience icing if I did, so she didn’t recommend it. It all depends on what you want, but Hollywood teeth isn’t something most people have so I’d recommend a normal tooth paste with whitening properties instead. In my opinion it’s better to have slightly yellow teeth like most people have, rather than doing something that can give you issues in the long run. And sure, you can eventually get dentures or something like that, but your original teeth are stronger.

It depends what type you use, brand, strength, frequency, and your diet.

I’d say in general once you get to the shade you want if you’re super careful to brush and floss regularly and don’t eat or drink anything that stains, maybe 6mo or so before it starts to fade and you’ll need to touch up.

But it’s so hard to give a general idea. It’s like asking how long a tan will last. Maybe a month? Maybe 10?
