If I am not as silent as a shadow, I speak very laconically and my conversations are all in interview fashion (i.e. I ask all the relevant questions I can think of and then clamp shut because I don’t know what to say). Naturally, this heavily cripples me in social situations and I cannot make friends easily. Can somebody give me an advice how to fix this?

  1. After you ask the question you can answer it or juat say what u think of their response

  2. I’m the exact same, so I can’t give any advice per se, but I can assure you that you’re not alone in this, when it comes to friends I’m usually okay, but when it comes to new people (especially women, because I’m straight) I get really nervous and do as your OP said
