All dressy socks I’ve worn all fit me too tight at the band to the point where after 30 mins my feet feel slightly numb. I have smaller calves than the average person. Is this normal? Any solutions?

  1. Well they’re supposed to be tight due to dress shoes generally being more narrow in terms of fitting. Maybe go up a size in socks.

  2. Solution: don’t wear dress socks. Try some black diabetic socks. They look tapered and dressy but won’t cut off your circulation the way dress socks do.

  3. Same thing with me, I think it because they don’t roll down and just look presentable when they are tight fit.

  4. when dress socks are tight, it gives a cleaner overall look and it decreases the chance that the socks scrunch up during the day. it’s an amazing feeling taking them off after a full day since your calves get to breathe

  5. Turn them inside out and put them on. Wear them all day. They feel better and not so tight. (I pass this on as I was told when I was 18)
