How do you protect your hair while you sleep?

  1. Put my hair up in a pineapple. It also gives it some volume at my roots, which is nice.

  2. Black woman here! 👋🏾 when my hair is in box braids, I wear a satin head scarf, and this is mostly to protect my edges and keep the tops of my braids from getting fuzzy while I sleep. When I’m not wearing braids, my natural hair is usually in two strand twists, so I wear a satin bonnet then for overall protection. Keeps my twists in place and neat in the morning!

  3. I have extremely long hair and I don’t even put it in a braid when I sleep, I just brush it the next day and it’s good to go.

Maybe I should try. But I guess I already answered your question.

  5. I tried a silk pillowcase and hated the feeling on my skin. Now I use a silk cap or just high ponytail.

  6. Hair so long I can tuck it into my pants and I don’t do anything. Just need to brush it in the morning, and it’s less tangled then compared to how it is in the afternoons. But I have fine straight hair so my hair type might be why I can get away with it.

  7. Loose bun on top held by a giant claw clip (the kind where the teeth are flat on the bottom) and a satin pillowcase. No sleep hats will stay on my head.
