Robert Graysmith made a pretty good case for Arthur Leigh Allen being the Zodiac. They included this in the 2008 film dramatization directed by David Fincher, which was based on Graysmith’s books.
I hope the great mystery of where I put my grinder wrench at work will be solved.
The Jonbenet Ramsey case is being reopened by a cold case team, apparently. I’m still doubtful we’ll ever *really* know what happened to her, but there’s at least a possibility that a lot more new information may be coming in that.
For a non-true-crime mystery, I don’t think we’ll ever know for sure [which industry is the secret ‘biggest buyer’ of glitter](https://www.reddit.com/r/BestofRedditorUpdates/comments/vwcnrb/not_all_that_glitters_is_solved_which_industry_is/) though I lean towards the theory that it’s likely that the buyer is buying a precursor product and not finished glitter (the ‘but what if it’s paint?’ theories drove me nuts because ‘what if there’s glitter in this glittery paint?’ is not a mystery!!!)
I heard a very convincing arguement that DB Cooper was a CIA operative involved in black ops in Indochina and was caught by them very quickly after the incident but covered it up out of embarrassment, so I think declassifying documents could solve it
