So I’m a first-year vet student, and unfortunately have no experience dating. I’ve never even kissed anyone. I’m a decent-looking guy and obviously an animal lover.
In college I was so busy maintaining a 4.0 and doing extracurriculars that I didn’t have time to attend many parties. I went to some, but all the girls were either unavailable or obviously not interested. The few female friends I had usually used me to help them study and weren’t interested. Zero matches on dating apps, looks of repugnance at bars and bullying were all common experiences. The few people I asked out rejected me.
Now that I’m in vet school and surrounded by young women, I have no idea where to start. Dating within my class isn’t really an option because a number of my classmates are engaged, married, or in long-term relationships. I also don’t know if I could deal with the constant gossip.
So how can I start getting experience? Any help is appreciated.
