Take your own mug (trust me)!
A coffee flask en route to work is nice also..
Relax, strike up conversations when the time is right. Offer to make a round of hot drinks.
Bring biscuits
Ask questions, take your own mug. ask where the fire exits and toilets are, as for one place I worked I was never even told.
Take your own nice coffee or tea. If you’re working in an office I’ve found office coffee to be a crime against humanity tbh.

Be nice to the service staff. They deserve it and generally knowledge about the goings on.
