So
Me and my boyfriend were attempting to have sex the other day. He is about 6’3, 6’4 and I’m 5’4. So there is a large height difference. But when we were trying to have sex for the first time he either wanted to do it doggy style or with me putting my legs on his shoulders. I should also throw in that he’s HUGE down there. So when we had sex for the first time we were only able to fit the tip in. (I couldn’t take anymore). Well me and my bf waited around 10 months to finally have sex (we’re long distance) so I was excited to do it with him. I’m the type to like intimate sex. So I wanted him to do it normal and in missionary chest to chest. But for some reason he said that position hurts him? I wanted to ask him later but I didn’t want to seem like I was pressing him to do it in missionary. Does anyone know why this position may hurt him?

  1. You really need to ask him; it will be virtually impossible for anyone else on Reddit to know.

  2. You’ll have to ask specifically. Sometimes taller guys can have a hard time because their knees take on too much pressure in that position. Using ample pillows under my butt and lower back helps take the pressure of my s/o’s knees. I also encourage him to lay on me in missionary as he used to think he would crush me if he put any of his weight on me when that’s not the case, so that also helps weight distribution. Plus, I like being weighed down a bit. So win-win.

You’ll have to find out why exactly, but if it’s a similar issue to what I described, those tips could help.

  3. With the height difference, missionary probably puts your face right around his chest, and maybe he feels like he has to hold his body weight up to avoid crushing you. But you need to just ask him and express your desire for more intimate positions. There are so many different positions to experiment with. Side laying, lotus, spooning, sitting on his lap, the spork. All of those can provide close body contact and a slower, more gentle pace to bring the intimacy you’re looking for.

  4. Bad knees. It hurts to hold that position. I’m 6’5 too so we do get a little afraid of crushing you.
