When I’m with a partner for the first time, I do not worry too much about being ‘special’. I worry about… wait worry is the wrong word, it’s a bit negative… I like focus. I focus on learning. I focus on both our enjoyment. I KNOW I won’t get everything right. I mean, it’s our first time. How am I supposed to know her? I focus on trying things, seeing her reaction… if it works I keep doing it, if it doesn’t, I smoothly move on to something else. Until I learn. I know she might be nervous too.
After it’s done, at our next conversation, if I have doubts or questions, I ask them.
The second or third time is when sparks really fly.
