1)Basically, I was in a group voice call with a new group of friends, and all these people out there showed so many emotions, annoyance, happiness, etc. I couldn’t show emotions in the same amount as they did. Couldn’t say a thing, really.

2)**Real interaction from the said group call:**
“This new guys is kind of shy. Are you afraid of women?” the girl asked me
“No, I just really don’t know what to say” I said twice

3)After a while I had to leave without even saying goodbye. They were talking so much that I couldn’t even insert a word, and I was feeling pretty alianated by the moment anyway.

4)It’s not that I am a lifeless rock, but the little amount of expressiveness gives me that feeling that I am not relatable to people and thus boring/can be easily ignored.

5)I am very used to listening more than speaking, but I ended up not contributing to the said group call at all. I got easily ignored.

6)Should I somehow be more expressive or what? How?
How do people manage to talk so much about something? We were playing video games, I do this all the time, still couldn’t contribute to the group.

TL;DR
I am not expressive. Felt alienated in a group call. Got easily ignored because of how mute I was(I guess)

  1. Next time just say, “I’m the strong silent type”. That sounds like your style so own it and then just listen.
