I’ve been talking to this guy I met online for a few days and we’ve talked a bit about ourselves, our hobbies and interests, our backgrounds, and today he mentioned meeting up and exchanging info. One thing I noticed is he will sometimes send heart emojis when asking how I’m doing or when thanking me. Is this a red flag or should I continue things and see where it goes? I’m not reciprocating and he’s done it twice so far. I like waiting until something more serious before using emojis like that, so I’m not sure if this is okay or if I should run. Help!

Not necessarily? I want to say how silly of a question this is, but from a guy perspective, it’s pretty early for that sort of a thing. It could also just be something he does without thinking much about it.
It’s a bit strange from him, but you’re considering cutting off a date because of 2 emojis. I would consider that an overreaction. Maybe consider it a yellow flag and watch for other behavior.
it’s an emoji. Don’t turn it into anything more significant. Would you break it off if he used an exclamation mark? If you’re ready to run from a heart emoji you may not be ready to date at all.
