When do you think we should spend the holidays together? We been datjng for 8 months ( me 27f and him 24m) and we are semi long distance. Thanksgiving is the only holiday we can spend together this year and he didn’t invite me to his. My family lives a crossed the country and his family is a 6hr drive away. He’s is doing Thanksgiving at his families and I’m going to my neighbors. I was hoping he would have invited me to go to but he didn’t.

It depends on you, your partner, and your families honestly. Maybe for him, he wants to be dating a year before spending a holiday with you and family together. Or if you’ve never met his family, perhaps he wants your first meeting to not be at a high pressure event like the holidays, or perhaps at his holidays he has lots of friends and extended family and he thinks it could be overwhelming.
Talk about your timelines and ask about when he’d feel it would be good to meet his family and when he envisions spending holidays together.
