Do you believe the saying that whatever is done in the dark comes to light?

I’ve been seeing this guy and I haven’t told my parents about him (I still live at home and I use their car to go see him). I’ve been going to see him once every week or every two weeks since September. He and I aren’t in a relationship but I want to keep seeing him. I’m just worried that they will eventually find out. (I do work and I want to save to get my own car but I only make $15 an hour)
