If you had a son, what would you name him? Why?

  1. I do have a son. I named him Kai. I got it from the Vampire Diaries. Lol I just really liked the name.

  2. Anthony because it’s been passed down for the last 3 generations, I want to keep the tradition going

  3. I love Theodore, or Aneurin (pronounced An-eye-rin ), Nye for short. I’ve always liked it, it’s not common (at least outside of Wales) and I admire Nye Bevin, who is the father of the NHS

  4. If I wanted kids, then probably Tom, after my grandad. I didn’t have much luck with the rest of my grandparents, but I miss him. Also I just like the name.

  5. Adnan. How i find this name is weird 😂
I think i was 13/14 that time. I was reading short novel stories in the news paper. The story was about a girl who choose to marry someone who can give her secure life, she betrayed her lover. Now after 3 years 3of them met in same spot. The husband Doesn’t know about the lover. Fl described her husband starting of the story who is a navy officer. I was just enchanted by the description. Like she was describing my ideal type. I really became jealous of the fl. Husbands name was adnan. And i actually got to know this name 1st time from the story. I am like obsessed with this name. I wanted to find a bf by this name and sent him to navy btw then i realise It’s impossible 😂. So i am just going to name my son

  6. I have a son and named him Sullivan (Sully). I tell people it’s like Monsters Inc or Captain Sully. We actually named him after the old man in the Uncharted series.

  7. Jack. It’s short, simple, no one can really mess it up (which is something I’ve dealt with my whole life).

Plus it’s just like a good classic name imo.

  8. I have two sons both with very common names. I think I would fill out my archangels with a Gabriel and Raphael: Gabe and Rafi.

  9. I love the name Solomon. I’m a freckly geeky redhead and if my son came out the same I don’t know if he could pull it off

  10. Ellis or Aden. I like the way it flows off the tongue. I would also name my daughter Ellis. So it works both ways for me.

  11. Morgan, middle name James after my brother. It’s a Welsh name and I want something somewhat androgynous.

If I had a daughter I’d like to name her Maxine so I can call them M&M 😅

  12. We like Wesley

But with the cost of living and goodness-knows-what in store for the next generation we are staying child free now.

  13. My son is Caleb. When we named him I had never heard of another boy with that name. Now they are everywhere! But its still a good name.

His middle name is Nathaniel which I also like.

Noah & Benjamin are the other boy’s name we never used.

  14. Miles Alexander

    Classy name.

Miles is elegant. You hear it, but its not something you will hear in every classroom when his name is called. Alexander is a name that flows well as a middle or first name.

My goal with a baby name is something not too common, but not outlandish. Baby names are for the baby not the parents. No need to get ridiculous trying to think of a “unique” name, my baby would be special and unique enough just by being here.

  15. James after my grandad. He was the most kind and loving man. I hope I can raise a son to be as wise and thoughtful as him one day

  16. Aiden. My partner chose the name for a potential daughter (Aurora), I chose the potential son’s name. I wanted a similar sounding one

  17. Leonidas is the nick of one of my best friends and I told him that my first son would have his nick as name

  18. My son is named Coen Wilder after the Coen Brothers and Billy Wilder. I love their writing and movies.
