I am a teenager, but I am on the shorter side, but still average. I can be mistaken as a kid. Often times when adults see me, they smile, and I really hate it. It makes it seem like they think they’re better than me, almost like they’re mocking me, rather than being friendly.

  1. If it’s happening with people you don’t know, they have no reason to be mocking you or making assumptions because they don’t even know you. They may look at you and smile because you remind them of their youth. Or, maybe they just think it’s cool to see a young person. Maybe you have a unique style or something interesting about you. Or maybe they’re just smiling at another person walking down the street.

  2. People usually smile at me because I have resting bitch face and they want me to smile back. I’m not exaggerating, almost every job I’ve had my managers have said something to me about it and people that don’t know me almost always ask me if I’m okay
