I went on a first-date that I thought would only last about 2 hours but ended up spending 24 hours together, right up until I had a flight out of the state to catch. My date was rly attractive, so interesting, funny, and ridiculously nice. He is way out of my league, but that wasn’t the part that I was concerned about. Towards the end of our date, he was complimenting me so much. I’ve never been complimented so much in my life, and I appreciated the compliments but it triggered a wall to go up. Do I have trust issues or is it a red flag when someone compliments u A LOT on a first date?
