I (F26) have been “talking” to a guy I like (M27) for almost 2 months now. Communication is consistent, initiated regularly by both people, and we both have really busy lives. His job especially is demanding. But we’ve only gone on 2 dates during this time. I feel like it’s usually been me pushing for him to set a firm date for future dates – he’ll bring up the vague idea etc. How do I proceed in this scenario? I’m fairly confident he’s not seeing anyone else, we’re both very compatible and I know he is looking for a relationship. Everyone has been telling me to led him lead and I do, but at the same time I’m not down to see someone twice a month while talking regularly. I don’t think that’s a way to build a connection. My friends/fam seem to think bringing that up to him at this stage in the game would be too intense.
