I’ve been friends with this girl for about a year and we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well over the last year. After seeing that we both want very similar things in a relationship, I decided to ask her out, to which she said yes. For the first date I took her to the bar at Texas Roadhouse (nothing crazy I know, but it was totally up her alley because she doesn’t like the intimidating environment that actual bars create and I think she enjoyed the more family friendly environment) we talked for about 4 hours and overall had a great time and she agreed to a second date. I don’t just want to take her out to eat and drink over and over again. We have a bowling alley here in town, but it’s a Bowlero so you know that thing is EXPENSIVE and I plan on covering both of us. Does anybody have any good 2nd date ideas that can actually help get the wheels on this train moving? Of course I’m not trying to rush it, I just don’t want to bore her.

  1. Something with competition or games. It’s fun to do something different even if it’s just board games, and it allows a more comfortable space to play and laugh and have fun and talk in between

  2. Is their an arcade near you? Working towards a goal together is always the perfect second or third date.

I usually do the let’s get a plushie and show off the fact that I’m actually really good at those games.

  3. I really appreciate everybody throwing around the activity ideas. I definitely see some good advice in here, but unfortunately there are not many options where I am as I don’t live in a massive city. Does anybody have ideas for anything that doesn’t involve very specific attractions. Something more general?
