So I’m in college. I was in the military so I got a late start on continuing my education. I’m now in my junior year. The only real way I have to meet any women at all is at school. Some are bothered by the age gap and I’m wondering if I should be concerned as well. I mean it’s not illegal and we’re all adults so. I’m staying away from freshman because 18 is just skirting the border and that’s a risk I’m not wiling to take. But sophomore and juniors are perfect.

Yes, it’s unusual. It’s not necessarily a disaster. If a woman doesn’t want to date you due to your age, take the L gracefully. If it doesn’t bother her, I don’t think it should bother you.
If shes over 18 and shes reciprocating romantic interest, whats the problem.
People need to mind their own dam business and worry about their own dating lives.
Hey, women develop their prefrontal cortex sooner than men (not 8 years sooner, more like 2 or 4) but still, it may seem lile a big age gap now, but when youre 110 and shes 102, who will really care? The answer is no one. Age gap make less and less of a difference as you age. And also, you may find that there are some women in their mid and late 20s. You may be surprised that a woman you think is a junior is actually 29. It can be genuinly hard to tell. I’m sure you look pretty young yourself 😉

If you casually met someone you like it’s fine ish. If you only wanna date and like people 10 years younger, that’s not good.
Unfortunately its too common but it is weird. I’m 25 and would not look at them twice once knowing their age. Wouldnt be friends with anyone who does either, so just prepare for people to stop talking to you
I understand you’re an older student, but why 19-20? Surely there are women 21-23 at your school that will be less bothered by the age gap.
Unusual yes, but I’m pretty libertarian when it comes to this stuff. As long as they are over 18, I don’t really care who people date.
Don’t expect others to share this view point, however. Some people will judge you negatively.
