Android
the smartest is to avoid iphones or any apple stuff really..
A factory sealed first edition iPhone, that is, if you can get your hands on one for under a grand.
You don’t have to take my word for it though but if you do I get 10% of the turnaround resale 😉
A Samsung galaxy S series
13, $100 less than the 14 and basically the same.

Not an iphone I’d say, not very sustainable as they are making it hard to repair, the system is locked, and it’s overpriced.
14 pro/max. Just spend the money. The phone will last u at least 4 years if u take care of it well. Thats 275 a year for the nicest iPhone available. A thing youll also notice is iphones use way less storage than androids idk why, but you wont need a tb of storage. When i had an android id have to get the 512 or bigger bc itd fill up so fast. But my iphone is a 256, had it a year and its not even 1/3 full.
Thats jus my suggestion.
If you dont have or dont want to spend that amount, get a 13 pro/max.
Ask yourself if it breaks down or w/e hm u willing to spend at the geek bar.
I was looking at replacing my A21 with the XR
If money is no constraint – 14 pro max
VFM – 13
Don’t mind small screen – 13 Mini
Budget constraints – 11
Samsung
None
My biggest issue with iPhone is justifying the price, you can get a perfectly useable Android phone for a few hundred.
That being said your downside of androids is the lack of updates after 2-4 years. Where as apple is generally around 7.
The newest iPhone doesn’t really seem worth it imo simply because it’s the same processor, just a slightly better camera and screen.
I would say go 3rd gen SE since it’s the cheapest, although you lack some features and it’s basically an 8 with an iphone 13(?) Internals.
Whichever one you have the money for
Why buy a iphone that requires all kinds of extra costs? Don’t buy for a brand name. Buy for what you actually need and likely end up with a much better choice and possibly lower costs over time.
I dunno, I’m still on the 7Plus and it’s fine for me. I don’t really understand what people are DOING with their phone that demands a CPU that’s nearly as powerful as a desktop computer.
Maybe if I used a newer one I’d see? But I think the 7 is the oldest phone with the TouchID, which I like a lot. So that’s my bare minimum.
I won’t upgrade until they make an iPhone with USB-C.
Not an iPhone android always comes out with new technology first. iPhone just copies.
Got 13 after keeping galaxy s8 for 5 years. The phone is great , 13/10 would recommend
iDon’t. I’d rather slam my dick in a car door than use anything by Apple. I don’t like Android either but if I have to go to the funeral of one hated relative or another I may just as well go to the one that charges the lowest admission.
I have the 2020 SE and Im perfectly satisfied. I dont care about picture quality or playing games so I dont need a fancy phone. Its much cheaper than standart iphones too.
Always start with an Ipone 1 and work your way up.
