About 3 months ago I went on birth control (JUNEL) for approx 2 weeks. The whole time I was in pain. On one of the last days, I missed one and took 2 the next day per the instructions. I was in a lot of pain. After quitting birth control, I’ve felt a sharp pain in my lower left abdomen during sex. This occurs regardless of foreplay, lube, condom, etc. Please help. Prior to going on the birth control, I never experienced any type of pain. Any guesses as to what this is?

BC shouldn’t contribute to pain
Whats your cycle like off BC?
Could be an STD (which you should get checked for if you’ve had multiple partners or unprotected sex with someone that’s had multiples)
Could also be something like endometriosis or another gynaecological issue. You really should talk to a doctor. Sex shouldn’t hurt.
