Because I’ve heard people who identify as straight say that they watch same sex porn and it makes zero sense to me honestly. As a straight man when I watch porn I look at the women because thats what turns me on, looking at men naked doesnt turn me on and maybe I might be extra straight cause I only watch lesbian or if I want to see a dick then trans women fucking women.
Although it seems like if a straight man watches gay porn then everyone is gonna say “your gay” while women who identify as straight can watch lesbian porn and no body questions thier sexuality. You can be straight but have an open mind on your sexuality. People who are straight can like the fact of same sex porn and have thoughts of having sexual arousal but maybe not in like a relationship form. The human body is a beautiful thing. If you don’t want to or like gay/lesbian porn simple solution is to not watch or have gay/lesbian sex. Having one is different and has different preference than you. Just don’t judge others just because you don’t like it get their reasons behind them and people won’t judge what you do and don’t like.

I think it’s weird to put people in boxes based on which porn they watch. It only leads to stigmatization. And it will continue to get men called gay/bi just because of their preferances in porn. I’ve taken a gender studies class that goes into this topic and it’s not necessarily being attracted to the same gender but reaffirming their masculinity or femininity.
For example, in a fraternity, one of the initiations was getting in a line (everyone being naked) and put your finger in the asshole of the person in front of you. Clearly this looks gay on the surface, but tends to reenforce the man’s masculinity.
